Sunset at Santa Monica Pier

Love and me went for a partial self drive trip to states last year. We only drove in LA as we didnt want to drive all the way to Vegas or San Francisco. We stayed a good 6 days in LA.

LA is really big and I really cant imagine getting around without self drive. Its so unlike Singapore whereby you will hardly spend more than 1 hr getting to anywhere on the island. It was our first self drive trip and was really quite enjoyable. Can tell that he enjoyed the experience as he got to tried on 2 other cars other than our Sasa and it was really fun driving on a different highway ahhahaah

Before the trip we were discussing on where we wanted to cover in LA since we have  6 days and of course we have a few must go places on mind, Disney, Universal studios, Hollywood sign, 2 outlets etc and 1 place which we couldnt really decide on was Santa Monica and even on the arrival we cannot really decide whether we have time for it. But we didnt regret the decision to go… I saw the most amazing sunset at Santa monica! Undescribable there is nothing like that in Singapore!

ImageReally look like a big yellowish egg yolk isnt it? That’s the closest we even get with the sun, i think

ImageImageImageImageImageImageIt was with mixed feelings when we saw the yolk disappearing right before our eyes.. was really beautiful but was a sense of lost somehow..

ImageSo happy that we have left our footprints on such a beautiful place on earth.. miss the place.. Dont think we will have a chance to ever go back there again..

Truly, Madly, Deeply infatuated wwwwwwithhhhh Instagram!

I have decided to create a cyber space of my own after I discovered Instagram… why so? Well…After I download the free app, I realised that that are soooooo much that I can share and want to share… and hence the birth of MerryMerryMerry… So I should give credit to Instagram, right? 🙂

I must say Im totally blown away by Instagram, a free photo sharing app that allows one to take a picture and apply filters to it. I love it for the ease of usage and one can easily take an expressive pic without having to use any professional software. ImageThis is how my account looks like hahaha WTF I really dont have many followers but I still love the app and all the pics that I posted on it..

Instagram allows me to shoot any pics of my fav stuff like food, cakes, love ones, snapshot of their front view, back view etc, nice dining place, travel destination, toys.. anything… and post it with a filter at any time without much hassle.. Im almost like a young lover who has fallen crazily in love with the app. Like a young lover, who constantly check their phones to wait for that special someone’s sms or calls, I will try to post at least a new pic everyday, checking if there’s new followers or someone who liked my pics every few hours and checking out those pics posted by friends or celebrities that Im following, admiring their post. I will even do that before my bedtime every night! And seriously… all the pics that were posted by everyone looks almost professional and stunning! I really enjoy admiring them!!!

What made the app very different from other social network is most people allow everyone to follow them and the pics posted by them are meant to be admired by all… This is good for people like me who like to admire people’s pictures and share my own… you have a choice on what you want to post and you will post what you deem as the best pics.. unlike FB where you will upload the 199 pics of your Bali trip.. This is different as you will choose to upload the best or most meaningful..

I’m particular about what i post on Instagram as I aspired to maintain a beaufooool album as much as i can heehee I only want to share those pics that made me happy, or pics that I feel alot about… like what I mentioned earlier, i always enjoy taking snapshot of everything and now Im even more inspired to take more pics, from more angles and better perspective… Instagram.. Im totally infatuated with you hahahah omg!!!

ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImagehahah they are really cool and nice pics right? These are some of my favorite pics that I have posted on my instagram and trust me.. i will continue to post nice pics on stuff that I love hahhaa

Start your own account today and start to fall in love… with the app, with your object, with taking pics…

Intro to my Travel Magic Helper- The Hand Mask Packs!

After my trip to Hongkong in June, im officially crazily in love with something ahhahaha that is the hand mask pack! I started using them two years back when my bff bought 1 from Korea for me to try. I love it but sadly the supply in Singapore was scares. I only managed to find them in Sasa stores and limited brands were available. Since then, I never fail to travel with them. Why so? Anyone who took a plane before should be aware that few hours on flight actually drys up your skin and hands are esp visible in my opinion. And here you are, the savior to the wrinkled skin on your paws hahahaha So for the past two years whenever I travel, I will buy these hand mask packs from Sasa Stores and will even supply them to my girlfriends who traveled with me hahahha i will wear them throughout the flight even though the recommended timing is only 20 mins. Trust me, the result is so much more better than any hand moisturizer you can find in the market. And the best thing about wearing them on board is, you dont normally do much stuff on board with your hands hence its the best time to pamper your hands! My love will have to serve me like a princess whenever we go on board hahahah  And you cant imagine how many packs I brought along for my recent trip to states hahaha 🙂

ImageThis is how the hand mask pack look like…I got the assorted brands from Hongkong Sasa!

I think there are a few brands that are available in Singapore Sasa too, but HK still has more variety and much cheaper… I tried some of the brands, not all. Some are two in one and some are two in two. What do I mean by that? Two in one means, there is only 1 sets of mask in the pack, outside dry, inside moist. And two in two means, there are actually two sets of mask in the pack, one sets of wet mask and one sets of dry ones. You will need to wear the wet one before wearing the dry ones. I prefer the two in twos, why? The two in twos are usually made of cotton and not paper hence is more moisturize than the paper ones.

ImageMy personal Favorite! I found this in Singapore guardian! It comes in a box of three packs. This is the one with two in twos, 1 sets of wet mask and 1 sets of dry mask, very sweet wine smell, very moisturizing! But sadly, I only managed find them in Holland Village and Paragon branch, hope they will not discontinue them…

Image dada! Opps that’s the make-upless me on board hahahah on my flight to Europe hahaha pardon me, thats the only pics I can find myself with these magic helper ahahha I will try to remind myself to take more pics with them when i go on board the next time k 😛

Do remember to give them a try on your next trip too… Im sure you will fall crazily in love with these magic helper too 🙂 lots of love

Hello Kitty Town Malaysia

ImageThe cutie tickets!

Hello Kitty town! I was very excited when I was first told that Sanrio has opened their doors in Malaysia! Being a Sanrio fan for years (since childhood in fact) I have always dreamed about visiting Sanrioland, hence was super happy with their decision to open another themepark in southeast asia! kekeke We happily booked the tickets online @ RM65 per adult and I think Malaysian gets to visit the place at RM55 instead.

So the fine Sunday, we drove in from Singapore in our party of five. It took us a while to find the place from causeway. i think it will be nearer to go by 2nd link. Reaching the place, it was a plain, new building with chaotic parking facilities, not impressed yet…

The entrance was cute with the huge Kitty welcoming us and it just made me look forward to  the themepark.

ImageThe 2nd floor entrance to the indoor themepark

We wanted to go in early as we want to enjoy the morning greeting by Kitty and daniel however we only managed to reach there around 1030am.. guess we missed them… Upon entering we realised that the place was actually quite small, about length of 2 basketball courts 😦

ImageThe Hello Kitty Teacup ride, the only ride in the themepark And it only has 5 cups hence expect a queue if you plan to go only in the afternoon.

ImageImageOmg! I love the restroom! hahahah every doors has the kitty face 🙂 love love love

The highlight of the whole themepark is the cutie Kitty home, where you are allowed entry only once ahhahha

ImageImageThe cutie sofa! too bad i didnt have chance to camwhore in it!

ImageKitty’s work station! omg I love it hahaha

ImageKitty fireplace 🙂

ImageImageKitty’s kitchen 🙂 still cute however I wasnt too impressed with the display on the cabinet… eg rice cooker, toaster, water bottles etc toys that you can buy fromToy r us! I was expecting to see stuffs that are not available outside… too high an expectation maybe

Next we enter Kitty’s bathroom, one of my favorite part of her house 🙂

Time for some light snacks at the cinnamon roll cafe… too bad choice for food is limited, Curry puff or waffle hahaah Natural choice for me was the waffle since there’s no kitty face on the curry puff 😛

ImageImageImageImageThe not so edible waffle that I ordered 😦

After the snacks, its almost time for the kitty parade 🙂

ImageCrowd awaiting the parade

ImageUp, close and personal with oh oh hee badz badz maru 🙂

After the parade, we rushed to the most exciting place of the themepark, The black wonder! It is where you can play a quest and upon completing you’ll receive a certification 🙂 Confusing but quite interesting…

Another mini-show by kitty and daniel

After the mini show, was almost 1pm and the place was getting overcrowded and since we have completed almost the whole place, we took our exit…

The place is only worth the effort if you are a die-hard kitty fan and please make sure you are early as the place will be overcrowded by noon 🙂 cheers to my 1st Sanrio experience! Look forward to visit the one in japan…. when will that be ahahhahaha
